So far from the vintage Brazil sides, they only look a threat from diving and set pieces

Ochoa is an amazing keeper, totally underrated. Until now he was playing for Ajaccio, a small Corsican team that's going down this year in Ligue 2. Always pulling out amazing saves against big teams. One of those players that you would pick in these fantasy football/FM games

Not a good showing.
Germany still my pick...pains me a bit to say that, but have got a feeling that if they win this they'll win the next few. They're basically Spain 6yrs ago.

Yeah I always buy him on FM.

Brazil was absolutely awful. Looks like the pressure is too much to handle. But also, I can't help thinking Scolari was so stupid to sleep on Diego Costa. I mean, just look at Fred - could he seriously think that there wasn't a better Brazilian 9 out there???

This is definitely more like the Brazil I've been expecting to see. I've been left wondering whether I have been missing something after seeing all the people predicting Brazil to win it. I looked at their squad and laughed when it was released. Still think Neymar is overrated and their other striking options (excluding Hulk who is inured - also think is overrated) just aren't good enough to be playing at this level. I mean... Fred? Seriously?
Shame that Mexico weren't able to clinch it towards the end. I think they deserved the win. Hernandez failed to win back the super-sub title from Fellaini.

I'm from Namen/Namur in Wallonia
On topic: the consensus here is that Wilmots is the real man of the game, you know you're doing something right when your two replacements score in the second half.
Also Vertonghen, you don't tackle like a dumbass when you've already got the yellow, that's some Van Bommel level of retardedness !!!!

Judging by the reactions they were more than happy to get a 0-0 tbh... few half chances, but given they won their first a point is a really fucking good result. Just got to eek out a point against Croatia and they're through. Brazil didn't look world-beating, but they could've had even more chances if Mexico had gone for it, I reckon... it was only a matter of time before they got something past Ochoa.
Ochoa linked with Arsenal and Liverpool this morning.....

Couple late games I've missed because I've fallen asleep at half time, yesterday was another. I'm sure in general the most boring games have been 11pm ones.
Gunna try recuperate some funds I lost yday today.
Think Chile will score but hopefully Spain will wanna make up for that dreadful result to Holland so gunna go Croatia, Spain and Holland all to win to nil. Reckon Spain 2-0, Holland 3-0.. but wouldn't be surprised if Spain concede. Be interesting to see who starts up top for Spain, if anybody.

I thought Belgium looked really bad at times.
Not the best attitude either but maybe that's because it was the first game.
Vertonghen is just hopeless. He was amazing at ajax at times but since then he's turned into a poor but highly aggressive and desperate tackler.
It's just not on having four centreback as the back four. Same with Germany.
If either meet a team like Columbia or Chile they might just get overrun.
I can't see this midfield working against a more organised team.
No communication at all.
It's absolutely nuts that Nainggolan wasn't called up.

yeah 0-0 was a good result for the Mexican fans, everyone seemed more than happy with it, I'm actually more excited about the Mexico games than any England game
