you read english really well. what part of " music discussion only " is hard to understand? threads like this one that are one of the top 5 troll targets on this entire site, are going to be moderated heavily.

Then move it to SNH. I personally find it weird that this is a problem now since this has been going on for months without modding.

when we get a volume of complaints on a subject, we moderate it more. there's been loads of complaints about this thread, just as the skrillex ones, and all the other highly trolled, viewed & posted topics. none of the moderating team is watching this site every hour of everyday. we get to it, when we can, and if there are pm's about things, then we get to it faster. obviously, sometimes we get to it much later than may be reasonable to some. we're volunteers on this site.

people nailbiting and obsessed about revealing musical identities is part of the territory as some people's personas and music are private to begin with, but that doesn't mean that our privacy rules don't apply, just because of their notoriety. if we had no rules or moderating standards on people's privacy both publicly and otherwise, then we become liable as a website. DSF is a music site first and always, not a tabloid. there's being interested in someone's music, lifestyle and persona, and then there's obsession and stalking. the latter two is the grey area when combined with the internet.

this thread won't be moved to snh. its a music thread, started here because of the music. fullstop.

So discussion of any twitter drama should be kept to the SNH? That's not a privacy issue as it's open arguments on public social networking sites.
