I normally don't shit on him for shits and giggles... but this ones bad. Especially if you were into the series.

The kids they chose from top to bottom were just really terrible.

Plus Aasif Mandvi as the bad guy, not really doing it for me

I don't see why anyone would be looking forward to airbender. A lot of huge fans of the original series I know have seen it and absolutely detest it. Film critics have universally panned it.

I'm hoping that Inception is in at work today so I can watch it on shift tonight, one of the few films I've been looking forward to this year.

I watched Iron Man 2 again last night, was better on second watching, but still far too baggy with little action compared to the first.

just for shits and giggles, try watching that movie with the following in mind:

Adam is God. Lou(cifer) is the devil. that should be enough to be able to pick up on the subtext of the film.

I'm not really sure what to say about this film. Technically, it's well made. The acting is great and the overall production quality is of a high standard.

It could be argued that there is a strong political subtext. The recurring theme of victimization would tie in with this. However, it's very easy to overlook any supposed subtext when you're confronted with images of this intensity. The graphic imagery will blind a few people to any deeper meaning there may be.

It's certainly a film that will make you feel something.

One more thing to say about 'A Serbian Film'.

The Aristocrats.

I wasn't a big fan of the first two but I really enjoyed this. Watched it in 2D for work. The middle sagged a little, but the start and end were excellent. Not ashamed to say I welled up a bit at the end

Seemed a bit hollow really. Once you get past the shock tactics and graphic sexual violence, there's not much to the film.

You could argue that the whole thing is a political statement about Serbia and talk about the theme of victimization but there are far better ways of expressing that than the imagery and content of this film.

There is one scene that really, really made me squirm.

On the plus side, there are some gorgeous women in it and serbian is a sexy language.
it was a bit hollow.

but that doesn't take away from the fact that it was disgusting. :o

I think it was a good film solely because I'm rarely disturbed, and this one got to me.
