. At present, the term is often held to be offensive, though controversy surrounds the historical evidence claimed for such a view.

In the silent part of the library and got a text from a friend that reads (we're discussing the similarites between my life and Lester (Kevin Spacey) from American Beauty):
I'd drag my balls across a mile long cheese grater to hear him fart into a walkie talkie
i am literally struggling to not crease up here

racial slurs are only fun when you use really obscure ones that no one uses anymore, like octaroon, jig, dago or honkey

Got word that a local, relatively obscure Cape Town band may have been signed to Planet Mu (and this is about a month after posting a mixtape online)
No affiliation with them but I just feel so happy on their behalf and inspired that things like this still happen

But on the reals, you can't love someone else fully until you love yourself.... thanks acid!
Your lady friend sounds pretty awesome? Dare I say you are free of the dreaded zone?
I've resigned my lucrative post as Chancellor of the Zone so I can woo a Cherokee squaw and go live a more wholesome existence in a smoked out teepee on a North Carolina reservation.

no no on the term ''squaw''
it's demeaning. sorry, i just have to let you know.
My apologies; lesson learned. I genuinely hadn't seen the word outside of history classes tbh before meeting this girl.
In my defense, she used it first though pretty tongue-in-cheek... and in a "wife=squaw" context, not an "any native girl=squaw" context. But I think I'll chill on that one, I definitely don't need it in my lexicon if it's as culturally dodgy as you reckon... thanks for the polite wrist-slap!
