yeah the cough syrup is. the guy i got it from had some really good connections. im pretty sure that the pharmaceutical companies are just selling it straight to dealers who have connections with rappers since they can afford to drop a few hundred every week to get their fix. but there is also a big open market on instagram. vice did a pretty good article on it.

if you buy syrup on the street youre a mark cause first of all people only buy it mostly for aesthetics anyway and also it's probably diluted. if you really want to get high just do any other opiate + some antihistamines for the wavyness

Yeah hundreds of dollars is a madness, doctors over here hand out max strength prescription cocodamol (30mg codeine/500mg paracetamol) for like a pulled muscle lol. You can get something like 12.8mg/500mg over the counter for a couple of quid and if you really wanted to abuse it codeine is soluble and paracetamol isn't so its a piece of piss to extract the codeine.

Probably why theres not a big problem with it over here, too easy and cheap to get hold of; therefore not cool.

What is called cough syrup in the US usually has codeine and promethazine in it, i did it a few times and oh lord it fucks u up lol

yh man just go to the counter of a pharmacy and say you have back pain that paracetemol isn't helping and a friend recommended codeine and you should get some, you will have to learn to do a cold water extraction if you want a decent dose and not die tho.

you could also say you have a bad dry tickly cough and you should get some codeine cough medicine but will probably have loads of other bullshit and will be harder to extract than the pills

Its over the counter, no-one will be fussy. Boots, Tesco.. any pharmacy. You don't need to justify anything either by saying you have back pain and paracetamol isn't working.. just say "can I have cocodamol plz" and they'll go "sure, are they for you and have you taken them before". Say fo sho' and they're yours. They're often behind the counter so you'll have to go to the till and ask.
