COMMENT AND CRITIQUE ON AT LEAST 3 PEOPLE'S WORKS IN PROGRESS BEFORE POSTING YOUR OWN.
iv already critiqued more than 3 people in the past
That doesn't give you a free ride to just post as many tracks as you want forever. 3 people, every post.

Any other feedback? I'm wanting to know what needs to be improved, or even technical advice like drum compression.

@ nnny - typing as im listening, like the old record white noiseish sound thats good for effect, love that guitar riff and vocals! id just change that rim shot to something most distinct or layer it up, and needs more of a low end, some sine on the bottom.

@ eldoogle - build up is ok, after the drop theres just no energy it sounds like the beat is really empty so maybe get some more hi hats in there couple of open ones a few FX and that. The main bassline is a bit generic, maybe just try layering it up to make it thicker or add some kind of distortion to it, try get it sounding more gritty, and i cant hear much low end so id add some subs underneath the main bassline.

@ R3N3gAD3 - nice build up and vocal sample - nice funky sort of sound to it reminding me of a kind of shortstuff or brackles type track, id only say that the snare is a bit thin, try layering it up get it nice and thick to hit hard and help the track to roll off nicely!

Heres my latest WIP - went for a more liquidy/trancey approach.

@elgoodle seems like mix needs a bit of work, snare need something more maybe some reverb or another high end sounding snare or clap with some verb layered on top. nice idea though.

@R3N3gAD3 i dont really like the clappy snare tbh, i think maybe put a snare behind it to give it some bottom end but not too low that it interferes with the kick. the middle section, have you thought of opening up the cutoff as it builds to that second drop? i dont know just something to try.

@jclarkeiv not my kinda thing but i feal that the cymbal and little rim shot or whatever pop out of the mix too much, add some reverb and turn the down a lil? maybe a tiny delay?

well this is the latest thing ive been working on but there is a few other WIP's up on my soundcloud if you wanna check them out. cheers for feedback in advance.

Been looking on here for a while. Have only been producing for a couple months so my advice i wouldnt say is expert. But im happy to give it a go :)

@JL Productions liking the arp sound and the snare is coming through nicely. Possibly could change up the bass line a bit, and maybe add something extra after the 2nd drop could be another melody or pads?
@BevOh Nice production on this. Good bass sound. needs a bit more bottom end after the drop (though this could be because im listening on shitty headphones, something is def missing though) Apart from that I like the groove!
@ eldoogle Like others have said the tune is feeling a bit empty atm. But the main bassline is solid. Change it up a bit more or add pads to fill out the top end could work?

Hope you can give me some good feedback on my tune. Thanks.

@JL Productions. i like that deep ass bass, sit really nice in the, that snare accents the drums so good to. when the "drop" comes, i think if you wobbles the sub bass it would make it better, rather than just a dragged on sub note know wat im saying? solid tune bro,

@Raxcal saw this on SC, vocals are mixed in real well (maybe too much high end in the vox though) sick ass drop!. maybe add some undertones in the drums, i can hear them but cant feel them. would really add the tune, the wobbles are spot on. this is one of your best raxcal no lie! deff finish it mayn!

@filtersnake mix sounds clean, love that snappy benga-ish snare. classic dubstep wobble. maybe change up the melody though a bit, wobble gets a bit repetitive. great atmosphere though you made with those beeping noises in the back. vox just came in, they really accent the track and i love that verb you got on them. Only flaw i see is melodic repetitveness (how dare i say this seeing as my wip is repetitive as hell lol) but other than that clean track man.

heres my newest WIP.

trying some 100 bpm moustache-step shit :h: :dunce: :dunce:

@RandoRando Cheers for the feedback man always appreciated. i shall change up them wobbles more!
Your track sounds sick. Loads of FX/glitches going on that compliment each other nicely. That bass is heavy! I want to get to this level of production, gonna take a while though haha. Nice clean groove and crisp production. Liking how the melody switches up after the heavy bass and the vocal glitch comes in properly.

@ bevoh - nice intro. sounds nice and wide. also liking the groove as well. as stated above your missing some bottom end it sounds like. really nice groove though. oh and maybe try tossin in another bass patch?

@ filtersnake - i like the chillness of your tune, great vibes. also maybe try introducing a new part with your same bass patch but a diff bass line with some space in it. i think it would give the song some nice variation.

@ bevoh - as always your drums are top notch. the grove of this song is amazing and sounds like u had your hands full with all those sound fx :Q: i think you should take that slow hard rockish part at the end somewhere though.

el doogie:
I REALLY like this. the only thing that caught me was the buildup. I feel like it could be a little more dramatic because the drop is great. I love the sounds and vibe, guess I just want more of everything im hearing ha

filtersnake:
I would add some percussion to the intro. The drop is great! I like the sounds/wobble, having a more percussive dramatic buildup would be good as its kinda a big jump to go from no percussion/drop

randorando:
this is awesome brah. props for doing something different. Not sure what to critique here.... maybe add some more variation to the main melody just to keep it moving/evolving.

ive been posting here awhile under a different name, just made a new account and made an official name/soundcloud, because this is the first track ive done I really like and im looking forward to hearing constructive criticism, thanks in advance!

EDIT: Here is the finished version.. I submitted it for the Untz Challenge

Anne Droid: :o That was... weird? Avant-step? Seriously though, I applaud your creativity and you're clearly a talented producer. Keep at it, it's always cool to hear new and interesting sounds! Personally I wouldn't have changed much except for the long fadeout at the end. Not the best way to end a song...

Lyons328: I like it, although it's too short to really judge. Cool sounds in the buildup, heavy drop. Pretty standard brostep style but well-made. The only issue I see is that the gun sample is placed a little bit awkwardly, it sounds kind of off time. I'll be sure to check it out when you're done.

RandoRando: Moustachestep? Never heard of it. Another unique track, but I like it. The vowel-sounding synths in the middle are pretty cool. Not much to say on this one, mixdown and arrangement and everything all sound good.

OK, I've "finished" my track (whole arrangement is done) but it probably needs some finishing touches. It's in my sig, let me know if there's anything I should tweak.

thanks man :). im gonna make some changes and add some diff sections obv...hopefully it will come out good. and your track is pretty dope dude. very creative with some nice melodies. the lower pitch bass sound could use some work imo though. it sounds a bit dull. really nice work tho man.

anne droid your track is amazing btw :h: once again very creative and i like the old schoolish vibes
