Doesn't have much in common with DMT, but should be a really...special experience, anyway.

I still haven't got if you people are playing mind games or really believing all that new age conspiracy theory stuff....
Taking datura is like getting yourself in to a septicemia induced delirium, I've never understood the appeal. I've had fun times off weaker deliriants style tings (diphenhydramine, salvia, LSA and nutmeg) and tbh it was alot of fun the first time, horrific the second time. My most profound memory is standing at the bathroom door for 2 hours on diphenhydramine almost crying because I couldn't find the door as I thought it was a wall. I dread to think what it's like off datura and nightshade style deliriums.

well it definitely isn't your average "recreational" substance and I can't say I would recommend it to anyone.
nightshade plants are very dangerous to deal with, both mentally and physically. You have to be in the right state of mind and stage in your life to experiment with these things otherwise the consequences
might be irrevocable damage done to body and spirit. I'll probably never take it again, there are just substances that are way safer and milder on one's disposition. But I felt and still do feel that it was the right thing to do at the time.

did nutmeg do anything for you??
damn I tried every possible combination: eating it, smoking it (very nasty), snorting it (very nasty as well)
but never got any effects off it. My friend just got sick and started vomiting...I had no reaction whatsoever.
it's also one of those substances where the dose needed to feel any profound effects lies very close to the margin of it's lethal dose.

Research has shown that when smoking MJ the brain releases some of the chemicals in the brain that are induced during dreamtime so that in effect you are living a kind of waking dream when you smoke.

[This would explain some of the negative side fx of MJ ie. depression as MJ interacting with serotonin levels/5HTP which is released during sleep etc as well as that feeling (for me anyway) when you wake up early and your head is mash up after bunning and you can't become 'alert', also it being hard to differentiate between sleep and waking, less restful sleeps and lack of dreams]

Some of what he says is interesting but I think Jordan Maxwell comes across as a self-deluded ego maniac in that vid.

Abt "contracts" "secret emails from Washington" "private hours long conversations" "friends in film industry" and "I am protected"...

This is what 48 years living in Hollywood does to you.

that was a handy little dismissal for one of the most legendary people who ever lived.

just wanted to say that that vid has really opened me up with its focus on everything pointing in the same direction....so so much in our culture is hinting on a huge transformation occuring soon....energy never dies, the wait is over etc etc

The paradox is: You use the argument that there's such a massive amount of space in the universe that there must be extra intelligent life. Humans are a couple million years old which is piss in the grand scheme of things. So its almost 100% probable that a large amount of these aliens have been around trillions of years longer than us. They have not invented a form of travel that can get across galaxies yet = wtf?

I still believe in aliens though...

Whitelight : I'd rather sink into new age conspiracies than eat datura, no troll fruit ;)

Regarding the aliens, to believe we are alone in the whole ''material'' universe is just narcissistic, how many suns there is.. that could have few planets gravitating around in the same proper conditions, in order to support living beings? Or it's also Intraterrestrial biz.. Really not closed minded on this one.

Remember the Montauk project Image
Funny sketches still

I saw a rather neat little counter-argument to the "if space is so massive there must be more life" idea in a philosophy essay a year or so ago. It's a natural assumption to make that "if we were lucky, other people must have been" - but we base our entire logical position on the fact that we exist (us existing is a prerequisite for the debate to happen). It's not necessarily a reliable leap to say that all that empty space must contain more life.

I'd still be surprised if it didn't though.

Anyone see the Bulgarians talking to aliens in the paper today? Mad or Rad?

This thread is mooooving...

Def agree on the increasing references in popular culture to a change or transformation beign imminent but even more so I see it being divided into a crossroads where the Spiritually Enlightened (trademark) are being positioned or are positioning themselves in opposition to the NWO... I guess representing the duality of man/good & evil/ fear & love etc etc

No sure how much choice we have or if soem type 'transformation' will be imposed upon us tho :/

Either way I think (like in politics) anyone propogating the belief that we are powerless to choose our own path or to affect our destiny should be challenged

I really can't work out the problem with a single world government. Tear down borders, make us all equal... seems a good idea to me. I've always thought the opponents would be better off getting involved and making sure that any world government was built in the interests of the people rather than trying to cut themselves off from something that is incredibly likely to happen in the long term.

Humans do band together over time, it seems natural behaviour. Call it empire building, alliance or 'special relationships'.... we all get closer in the end.

Are you nuts? Show me any centralised government that has actually been good for the people (and don't say Cuba- it's a mess)

Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Devolving power and decision-making to local communities and LA's is the only way forward and this is what the climate change lobby and (most) spiritually-enlighted are pushing for. Interestingly David Cameron is basing a lot of his policies on this belief as well.
