i just picked up this record and it's on the turntable now. It is so good! I've long been a fan of Frankie Paul and this one has Sly & Robbie on drums and bass with Jackie Mittoo on keyboards. It came out in the late '80's and has that digital dancehall feel but with heavy rootsy basslines.

yeah frankie paul has loads of 80s gems, I rate him aswell.

most lps are pretty easily available and cheap

The support band for groundation last night were absoluitely sick but I didn't catch their name :(

Anyone know of a reggae band with a female singer and an amazing sax player in (i guess) London? They sounded kind of like the resonators but that might just because of the female vocals.
