2) Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler (Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship)
3) CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Christian vs. Kane vs. Rob Van Dam (Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a WWE Championship contract)
4) Chris Jericho vs. Ryback (Singles match)
5) Wade Barrett vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Damien Sandow vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Fandango vs. Jack Swagger vs. Antonio Cesaro (Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a World Heavyweight Championship contract)

My predictions;

Preshow) The Shield, no way they'd lose to the Usos so soon, and especially not in a preshow
1) Cena
2) Ziggler
3) Bryan
4) Ryback (he pretty much has to win to get himself back on track)
5) Ambrose would be sweet, but it's too soon for him to get a world title shot IMO, so going with either Sandow or Cesaro
6) Axel. A loss to Miz would be a staller IMO
7) AJ

I'm a bit out of date, but...

1) John Cena (c) vs. Mark Henry - Cena somehow setting up a rematch for Summerslam where Henry finally shows "honour" and goes over.
2) Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler - Ziggler
3) CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Christian vs. Kane vs. Rob Van Dam - Want Bryan, but probably Orton with a heel turn still on the cards (unless it's already happened while I've been away :lol: )
4) Chris Jericho vs. Ryback - Ryback. Losing to newbies is what Jericho is employed for these days.
5) Wade Barrett vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Damien Sandow vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Fandango vs. Jack Swagger vs. Antonio Cesaro - Barrett.
6) Curtis Axel (c) vs. The Miz (Singles match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship) - Axel.... no chance he's losing the strap yet if they want any hope of him and the IC belt being credible.
7) AJ Lee (c) vs. Kaitlyn (Singles match for the WWE Divas Championship) AJ. A heel crowd might be the only thing to make this bearable... please be a massive bunch of stnuc.

No fucking chance, creative have lost faith in Barrett. Has he even had a storyline since dropping the IC?

He seemed to have a bit more fanfare on his recent return... he's one of the few mid-carders who looks genuinely tough to me, but I think you're probably right. I can't see them giving Cesaro the WC though.

Rhodes or Sandow?

It's too early for Ambrose and everyone else can fuck off.

I'm going Sandow, but honestly I can't see either of them as champion right now. Ambrose is the pick of the bunch but he's too new.

Unless he wins it, and keeps it until nearly WM before cashing in...

The WC might be even less relevant than the IC at this stage.

If you think whoever wins is probably going to have Ziggler to face though.

That's true. I'm glad he's getting at least a half decent run...

A tweener Ziggy Vs Ambrose/Shield programme could be pretty special.

Considered that, but would be dependant on Langston being involved TBH. Much as I like Ziggler, the idea of him taking on all three by himself is a bit silly. Reigns vs. Langston though...that's fucking tasty.

I figure Ziggler's got one or two programmes left before him and Langston split and go at each other... maybe Ziggy Vs Ambrose with the Shield banned from ringside after interruptions etc on Raw. Ziggy ends up getting fucked over by Langston who joins The Shield.

Or something.

Ziggy wins back WC, Langston takes US off of Ambrose, AJ retains...heel stable w/ lots of titles ala Evolution.

Well...that was interesting to say the least :o

Going back to what I'd had down...
wub wrote:My predictions;

7) AJ
SPOILER results;

Preshow) Shield, fairly predictable but damn fine opener. Reigns is a fucking beast, and biggups Jimmy Uso for channeling his inner luchador.
1) Cena. Meh, standard match. Henry had a lot of offense early on, but once Cena got him on his shoulders it was inevitable.
2) Del Rio. AJ causing a DQ. AMAZING match, Ziggler's selling and those fucking elbow drops. Plus throws open the whole breakup angle into their stable.
3) Orton. Pretty bummed out about this, honestly thought they were selling big on the Bryan push. Match itself was spectacular. RVD was on form, even Sheamus put in a decent job. Bryan's offense on the ladder was at times ridiculous.
4) Ryback. Though they botched a couple of spots prior to the finish, but Jericho did his part in putting Ryback over.
5) Sandow FUCK YES, match of the evening IMO. Some of the spots were ridiculous (Fandango's sunset flip powerbomb, Barrett's muay thai knees on a trapped Ambrose, Cesaro & Swagger showing a lot of teamwork promise, plus the finish with Sandow screwing Rhodes. Brilliant stuff all round,
6) Axel. Crowd hated Miz and he was playing up to it. Decent match overall, but TBH these two just bore the shit out of me.
7) AJ. Holy fucking shit, is that b2b consecutive decent matches from the Diva's division? Solid storytelling with AJ working the arm then getting Kaitlyn to tap out. It's still a long way from the Gail Kim matches TNA have ATM, but it's still a step in the right direction.

/ SPOILER

So I make that 5 out of 7 for predictions, not a bad showing. Fucking good PPV overall :Q:

Well that was LOADS better than I thought it might be... I missed most of the buildup being away, so that meant I didn't skip all the recaps before the matches. I ended up being far too late in bed because I couldn't find anything to fast-forward!

The first MITB was excellent... it's not often they tell such a good story with a showpiece match like that. The second one was good enough, but it's a shame RvD didn't have much to offer but a couple of big bumps... at a guess Orton will complete his turn by cashing in against Punk (who will have picked up the pieces of Henry/Cena somehow) setting themselves up for the Rumble or Wrestlemania.

I hope Henry regroups, "learns something about respect" and ends up with a final triumphant title run. He really does deserve it, though I don't think Cena's the right person to put him over in the slightest.

Ziggler/Del Rio was brill and for a second PPV in a row I didn't skip the Divas. They're wrestling smarter than half of the midcard.

Best PPV for a minute.

Christ on a bike, if this isn't a work...
At Tuesday night’s SmackDown television taping, Mr. Money in the Bank Randy Orton was injured during his match against World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio.

According to WWE medical personnel, the nine-time World Champion suffered a cervical strain and cervical neuropraxia.
AKA what Edge had to retire because of.

Edge retired more for the stenosis than the neuropraxia, orton has what amounts to whiplash really. Also the wording on the article on wwe.com where it states "TUNE IN ON FRIDAY TO SEE IT HAPPEN" makes me think it's a work.
