Oprah also hosts divorces
twin peaks - best tv ever made, if your misses can watch that with you you're off fine man, just prepare for when the time does come when she starts moaning about your music and you start moaning about her fashion shows, whats natural is you getting through that and seeing that happen as natural.legend4ry wrote:Coming back onto this subject, as me and my mrs have been moved in together for a few months now...You just gotta set up a routine!
Like right now, shes coming home from Uni; I have tidied up and have prepared dinner for tonight - started a little something on fruity which has been on loop for the last 30-40 minutes while I prepared/cleaned.
I'll meet her from the station; probably watch some Twin Peaks - have dinner, watch another episode or something then when it hits about 9pm. I'll put my headphones on and crack on till about 11 and then spend time as shes getting ready for sleep - if I ain't tired i'll go back on the computer when shes asleep.
Haven't had one disagreement or arguement about me making music or DJing... If she asks me to not go make music one night; i'll just save up my ideas till the wee-hours (I don't do much sleeping these days..) when I wake up and do it then.. I haven't made more music than I have recently!
Without judging anyone - i think if I was with anyone else (someone who I didn't actually want to be with and just settled) it wouldn't be like that! If you're having problems its probably a choice of partners and lets be honest its not hard finding someone to get your kicks. Commitment to someone should be a natural thing, meaning you'll support their hobbies and interests and they'll support yours..
Not going to lie; I don't exactly enjoy going to fashion events (pop up shop openings/new season launches, etc, etc) but I do it cause its what you do innit.
Juggling your own interests and someone elses isn't hard if you respect/care for the person.
Just me 2 sappy cents.

Still; at least you're doing things what makes you happy! If I ain't loaded up my DAW in 2-3 days because me and the mrs are getting on super well and been talking lots and spending loads of time with each other.. That good mood will translate to productivity on your DAW!hayze99 wrote: Still, my production is entirely sapped - not due to intolerance, but just being distracted 24/7. The amount of time spent just chatting about shit and lounging about doing nothing with the girl you love is actually unbelievable when I look back at it.
K-bam. Just had to bump this quote.wub wrote:Why are there so few female producers?
Because women have a hard time with Logic & Reason.
There's a girl in one of my classes who produces dance music and is a singer featured on some of the label Armada's songs... Needless to say the moment I learned this I fell in love.skyhigh wrote:I posted on here a long time ago about how women and producing don't blend. Well, at the time I was correct but I recently met a chick that loves dubstep / dnb. All of a sudden life makes sense.
To make matters even better... she's hot. Real hot. Pinch me I'm dreaming.-[2]DAY_- wrote:fuck off you two
