The thing is with forums they all sing from the same songsheet; when you get someone with a different opinion to them then they follow each other like sheep and it's sad.

I still feel that even the Pakistani, Indian etc generations of immigrants have yet to fully integrate and probably never will let alone the Polish, Slovaks etc

That's just straight up incorrect. Most of the 60s/70s/80s in flux are 2nd, 3rd or even 4th generation now. They're in the House of Lords, they're headteachers in the schools, they're our doctors and nurses. They don't need to integrate with society, they ARE society.

I honestly think you'd make yourself a lot happier by reading some British history and realising how much of our culture was created by 1st and 2nd generation migrants. We're an island nation; in fact, we're the most successful island nation that has *ever* existed. We didn't become that by being isolationist and xenophobic, but exactly the opposite.

if anything, when i go to an indian, polish, jamaican, chinese shop etc, which i do alot for cooking, they seem more welcoming to me than ppl of their own nationality/culture

they like the fact that that people are getting involved with their traditions

Most of the working classes are thinking it. They're sick of blue collar jobs being monopolised by immigrants and they're sick of social housing being taken by immigrants. Just because the country is largely middle-class and isn't affected by these issues doesn't mean they're not there,

Your opening post you outlined the policies, but after that some of your comments were interpreted as racist, not just by me but by the people who reported them. I usually stay well clear of your threads, this one only popped up on my radar I got 'post reported' notifications popping up.

That's not always the case round here. In this instance it could just be that people genuinely don't agree with UKIP's policies. Fairly sure people like Magma, Jim, Djoe etc who are making points against your arguments aren't doing it for sheep reasons.
