lol not heard the flip on MEDI010 since Dubstep Allstars 3..
That's how old that tune is.. big tune nontheless, glad it's seen wax

DMZ014
Woulda preferred some new/old (that aint been released) Loefah's lol.
beggars can't be choosers, and tbh i've wanted Triple 6 on wax for yonks, so i'm happy either way :P

coki's good but.....

hes miles behind mala & loefah in my opinion

not gonna buy, but sameway i will nod my heat if i hear a dj play either of these beats.

i wanted a Mala or Loefah plate aswell tbh...

but i'm still gonna buy this when it drops...

Mala had 010, 011, 012...so now we got a couple Coki releases in a row...seems fair to me...surely the DMZ label should represent the growth of each artist's sound and out of the 14 releases so far this is only the third solo Coki plate...

i personally prefer Mala and Loefah's stuff overall but Coki is responsible for ALOT of amazing tunes, is a VERY diverse producer and is 1/3 of the DMZ sound...and these two tracks are still good IMO...

oh and i gotta say i really love the output of many labels at the mo...3024, Hessle Audio, Hemlock, NakedLunch, Applepips, Soul Motive, Kapsize, Chestplate etc...

...but Deep Medi is by far my favourite...everything released so far has been supreb IMO and i am anticipating 010, 013, 014, 015, 016 more than any other upcoming releases...sick label...

Kenji Kawai sample on 666? the tune is some gully creeper undead type ish.

So much in road rage that i hadn't heard on the radio or at mass. such a rich, multi layered sound. at november dmz, tune made me feel like i was in this game http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=pqwnpu02l70

out to coki - an archetypal release.

not really feelin 'triple 6' and i would have bought it for 'road rage' had it been released before it was completely rinsed by the super cool in circle of this scence. oh well, just another decent tune killed on me by the politics of dubplate culture. imo it's insulting to the fandom when this happens.

triple 6 is fresh and is being underrated quite harshly imo

as for the above if you don't like it make some great tunes of your own.

coki's seems to get branded with the mediocrity of all those producers that have jumped on his style.

true

these tunes are both "deep" they're not just metallic mid range wobble fests like the cliche would have it
