Moyes would be a pretty weak appointment imo, considering 'the special one' is in the market this summer.
No idea how we're going to do tonight since you can never know which Spurs is going to show up. We have seemed to get more up for it against the big teams though, so I don't think it'll be a mauling at least...

Not worried it's going to be a mauling, if we lose this it's goodbye CL and also Bale probably.

Moyes has never beater United, Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal away in 10 years nor won a trophy. Bottle's it in the big games.
He'll be Ferguson's puppet.

I cant see Jose putting up with Fergie as a "Director" breathing over his shoulder. (Is that even a phrase??). But Moyes is more likely to be accomodating to Whisky Nose still being around.

Given that this will really fucking annoy all the Everton and Manchester United fans I know I really want this to happen

I don't get all the Moyes criticism. It's all well and good pointing to Mourinho and the like, but they build teams and not clubs. If Moyes is chosen I doubt Man U will be in the top 2 next season but they will be consistently up there for seasons to come. Looking from a neutral POV, it would be quite sad to see Man U descend into being a club with a revolving door policy that's present at Chelsea and to an extent, Man City and Tottenham.

as a United fan I'd definitely take Moyes over Jose.
Sure he's less shiny, but he'll provide a stability to United.
And Mourinho plays shit football.

yeah because Moyes plays pass and move football, just hoof it up to Fellaini or Anichebe, he's a decent coach and works well with what he has but they could get pretty much anyone bar pep in. No chance Moyes would of got this united to 90 points this season.

Well Bale done fuck all yesterday and the rest of the team really weren't much better. Something's wrong if Adebayor is the best player on your side. Haven't really seen much heart or a burning desire from Spurs the past few games, we've been extremely lucky.
Hoping Chelsea and Arsenal now fuck up badly and we win the last two games...

Though its in our hands now. Stoke away aint gonna be easy for Spurs - reckon a draw is feasible, you never know with Sunderland either. Obviously happy to have a 1 point advantage, goal difference advantage, and also two (marginally) easier games.
St James Park last day of season is going to be heart in mouth business

Well I guess we're about to find out. Moyes didn't exactly have the players to play the type of football United play whilst he was at Everton. Sure there'll likely be a transitional period, but I'd rather that then a bunch of people coming in for a season at a time and United turning into Chelsea. It's not about instant gratification.
And you say 'this united' like it isn't the best squad we've had in absolutely ages.
