i've got a mate who i dj with a lot, whenever he uses my headphones they stink of his aftershave for days afterwards

i mixed w/ these 2 dudes off serato last night

they couldnt do shit, couldnt cue a record (had to use 1 of those dumb little triangles that hooks up 2 serato w/ the buttons)
couldnt pitch a fucking tune to stay in time
and couldnt mix from vinyl back into serato to save their life

sad thing is the one dude plays w/ cdjs but the other GETS PAID GIGS to play brostep off a controller
and cannot mix two tunes w/ different bpms

ppl fucking astound me

might as well just pop in a fucking mix cd if im the club manager & go up to the front & dance around a laptop on facebook

got a replacement phone last week after smashing the screen on my old one, think i've already managed to break it though by pouring beer all over it

I got thsoe for free with my serato, I don't use them

Seems like that might be useful to jump to cues though?

I mean you can hold and let go on the cue, or press a button, either way there's not that much to it.

Its a pretty useful tool if youre using serato with tt's, you can assign it 15 different commands i just cba doing it, its no effort to pick song using the laptop... and i use it with cdjs so dont need to press a button to cue

idk i guess it just takes the whole vinyl out of serato to me

u dont even have to touch them whats the point of not just playing off a laptop at that point

I only use my technics for records, is that to do with what you said?
