Ive seen big iron mentioned quite a few times lately, did one of you start it or something?

indeed. it started off as a collective where a bunch of guys just made tunes together but i thought i may as well start releasing our guys music, a lot of them being from this forum. we also are doing monthly podcasts, livestreamed, and every two weeks we're having 'chamber files' which are collections of mixes done by our guys of all our latest tracks. next podcast (dec 1st) will have a half hour mix from smokeybeenz (Cube) featuring quite a few tracks from guys on the DSF, and then an hour livestreamed mix from myself and Cheebs with a few of my dubplates and such.

just wanted to give a few artists i like a bit of exposure, but its growing bigger than that now, which is awesome.

always welcoming any track/mix submissions. even stems, if you have a track that you know has potential but just isnt going anywhere, why not collab with another producer and get it done?

respect for the support, means a lot to everyone on the team

People in my halls are complimenting me on my DJ'ing and on the tune I just made. Not sure whether that actually means either are very good though

I'd be happy if I finish one tune a month that I'm content with and I only work/study 30 hours a week or so.

Due to all the violence and the heat wave, I've been able to leave classes early, so I get more time for production. Plus having people actually supporting my music gives me inspiration. I usually finish a lot of tracks in a week then take a break for 2~3 weeks and improve the mixdown / send the tracks during take time.
