Thing is when it's that limited a decent rip will be floating around online very quickly. If they press like 1000 and say that's it fair enough.. But 300 is just pretentious. I can't think of a sound reason to limit that plate to 300. unless they're all broke and plan on making sick £££ selling a back stock on disco-gees.

This is just trolling of the highest order. In all these threads when an old dub gets finally released someone's always complaining about it getting released, it will kill the magic of the tune blah blah blah... I've never agreed with that since I don't live in a place where there are dubstep events so my chances of hearing these dubs in a dance are 0%. So yeah, when they do get released I'm happy.

For the first time however, if they really put out 300 copies and never repress, I would agree that it would have been better if they stayed as dubs.

Because honestly, this is not funny AT ALL.

hell, even Badman VIP got 1000 copies pressed and sold.

I don't think rarity can be a reason for 300 cause why press it at all if you wanna keep it rare? 300 is too few for that reason imo.. 7 billion people in the world is pressing 1000 really gunna ruin the rare aspect of the plate? Neinty.

This is just how gizmo operates though, it's how all the BH stuff is. He's a contratian who likes pissing people off but 100% of the stuff on his labels is amazing so it's tough shit really. To be fair to him there is some stuff up online at hard wax, but I can't see this one being there.

that's your decision then. the people who wanted to own Badman VIP got the chance, and I don't think a lot of heads had to miss out. BH & Loe are making the active decision to press and release an amount clearly not sufficient to make up for the demand... which, in my book, is a bit of a dick move. just as bad as labels claiming "OMG LIMITED TO 300 GRAB ONE QUICK" when they know fully well they'll have a hard time selling 250 copies.

imho go the Bandulu route, press 300 with full artwork and press another 500 or so whitelabel copies.

How so? Everyone has a chance to get a copy of it since it's not a instore exclusive. I'm pretty sure the pressing quality of Western was bad.
