he's an old skater friend of tyler's and he runs their merch store, and is also the cover of their newest mixtape

i fucking love Odd Future.

With 90% of artists hiding behind pseudo-intellectual personas, its refreshing to see a young group of lads just fucking about, having a laugh. No false pretense or motive, simply putting out music for the love of it.

I think MellowHype is the best collective, Earl the best rapper. I rate Tyler's Bastard but don't think much of Goblin at all though. And Frank Ocean is probably the only RnB I've liked since about 2001.

I can't help but feel Earl's slightly overrated. He might be technically better at putting words together than Tyler (not imo), but he doesn't really SAY anything. His words are more or less meaningless. Tyler actually really knocked me out with most of his verses on the new project. His presence on the mic, hunger, and skill are unquestionable.

Don't understand the haters tbh..the rape stuff is lame but it seems they're over it now too.
