when I was 18 I used to book shows for a few indie clubs in north dakota/minnesota i guess J Mascis was in minnesota for the weekend because he attended a Red Monkey show. He ordered a pita sandwich and some dude tried to talk to him and he just sat eating his pita very loudly and then turned to the guy and said "weird man"

the guy seemed very socially awkward but he's a hero
