hold tight the belt drivers
shock to the system when i stepped onto technics in a club tho. held my finger lightly on the side of the platter to slow the record down, nothing happened

as a test i lined up my slipmats pressed play on both decks at the same time at 45 rpm 0% pitch change.
i then watched in amazement as they slipped out of sync badly within half a minute.
