Hi there,
I'm dopesquared, 21 years old and currently living right in the middle of Germany. Got into dubstep about 2 years ago.. The first dubstep tune I heard was "Optimus Prime" by Dagga which I suppose is quite uncommon

All in all I'm more into the classic names like DMZ, Kode9 or Rusko though.

Hi, I'm John.
Got hooked on dubstep when I saw a set from Caspa (2010, Amsterdam, my hometown). Listened to the likes of Roni Size and Prodigy back in the days, but I kinda missed the rise of dubstep completely in the first couple of years. At the end of 2010 I grabbed a copy of Ableton and started to experiment, read, watch tutorials etc. DSF has helped me a lot, sucking up all the info from experts like macc, all the moderators and the rest of the community.
Big ups! Thanks for all the knowledge shared!
Some favorites: Emalkay, Digital Mystikz, Caspa, Vivek, Hatcha, Skream.

LOL, if your standard is Ben & Jerry's I recommend you try some small-scale productions. We're not playing in the same league (quality & quantity wise). I'd honestly say we're the best ice cream in Montreal.
