Oi oi! Quantum Breaks here. New to the forum. New to forums in general. been producing for 15 years, mixing records for 14 years. Using Technics 1210 M5G's at the moment but thinking of reluctantly selling them and making the switch to CDJ's. Was a techno head when i was a kid. Always liked a bit of hip hop. Heavily into jungle and then drum n bass all through the 90's. Fell in love with Dubstep in the early 2000's. Just relaunched myself under the name 'Quantum Breaks' and will be unleashing just about any form of EDM I get my head around. Open to any ideas on how to promote myself. Open to any collaborations with serious artists. Open to suggestions of remixes. Open to any new sexual positions... Looking forward to contributing to this site and generally making a musical nuisance of myself. You can find me on all the popular social networking sites where I promote any music that catches my ear as well as my own and generally ramble on about whatever pops into my silly little head.

Hey all

My name is Jerry and I produce under the name Sioux and have been doing so for a couple of months now. First got into the "brostep" side of dubstep around 2010 but got more into the darker side of it around 2011 and started experimenting with it earlier this year. This is my third forum I've joined (the first being the UKF one which unfortunately got spammed to death and the second one being a UK based one but isn't really that active :-/) but I'm pretty glad to see this one is alive and active so I hope to get stuck in this forum over the next few days
Anyways that's a bit about me and hope to get chatting to some of you soon. Peace

Cheers ReDead! Just fixed that now!

In the UKF forum it was just a case of posting the link and it would add that widjet automatically so I thought that was the case for this one. Didn't see the "soundcloud" button. Thanks again doe
And thank you Skerrick! Seen the comments you posted on Faustian Bargain there!

Loving your tracks too bruv!

ELLO! Im a new member and am enjoying the content and banter here. I am a dubstep / electro / house producer myself and am really interested in hearing new music! If you are like myself perhaps you would be interested in checking out my newest remix. Its actually a remix of the song Primadonna by Marina and the Diamondds. Loved the song for a long time and finally found a great fit for the vocals within one of my songs.
http://youtu.be/ZmeE8QKi5wQ. check it out if you'd like and i will always love feedback!

Hi everybody
I'm 20 years old, live in Switzerland and have been experimenting with synths and sequencers for about a year now.
I've mostly been involved in the rock/metal scene until about 3 years ago when I fell in love with dubstep, d'n'b and EDM in general.
As for my purpose of being here, I obviously want to get my tunes heard, and get some feedback since my production skills are rudimentary to say the least, but I also learned to love this forum as a means of discovering new music a few months ago.

I am 17 and I am kinda a new comer to the Dubstep scene. I was first introduced to Dubstep last year after my cousin held me to the floor and shoved Mud by Loefah into my brain, and now... I love it. This has caused me to get into all forms of House, jungle, d'n'b, minimal techno, IDM, industrial stuff, hell even drone music. For the past 2 months I've tried my hands at producing Dubstep and combining it with more avante-garde styles, such as drone and phase music (if anyone can give any advice on how to do that... that'd be awesome.) So yeah, I found this forum so I joined and here we are.

whats up? my name is taiken and i'm producing and deejaying since about 8 years now. my roots are in hip hop & trip hop stuff. around 2006-2007 i got into dubstep the first time. strictly dmz biznezz. since the i mainly focus on production & selection. i only play vinyl. no serato & digi shit, not my thing at all. since last year we (the tengu collective) finally got our soundsystem together. cause its system music. we start more and more to play straight our dubs & dubs from friends. we are also deep into the dub scene & travell alot with a close dub & roots soundsystem from the same town. witch is, btw, st.gallen switzerland. since 2012 we also run our own clubnight called "fraction". in production i focus on the dubby, minimal side of dubstep with an eye on the future & all interessting stuff going on next to dubstep. looking 4 a label to.
one love
taiken

Hellu! Not rly sure what to present in this post... but well, um, i'm a guy from sweden. Been dj'ing for a while and since like 1.5 year back i've been trying to make some music. Atm I'm using Logic as well as Ableton. Still trying to find the right synths, vst's and sounds for me...
I fingerdrum as well, or i'm using the midi fightert classic, from djtechtools. Gotten pretty good at it. I think that's how i'd like to perform in the future (though probably with a traktor machine or smth).
I listen to pretty much anything as well, except like reggae and music with to much atitude. Though i like scave, wich i find sort of strange (since i can't stand reggea).
Hmm... and yeah. My nickname. Many probably recognize the phrase ''p12'' or ''12p''. It's sort of like an insult. Well, from the start it's actually from swedish and stands for, ''boy 12 years old''. It's common in fotball division etc. So... the boys in the 90's generation, here in sweden, ussualy just play pc-games. Like, we got quite good economy and it's like dark 24/7, as well as high speed internet (it's almost concidered an human right here). Wich pretty much results in a ''gamer generation''. Well, often we use the expression p12 as an insult in pc-game's, and that's pretty much why it's so widely used between gamers. With them not even knowing what it stands for!
