Wasn't feeling the first two soundcloud mixes, everything just sounded too sped up. I liked the third soundcloud track though, had a nice groove and vibe to it with the xylophone.

I've seen him play out, he has good taste but he had absolutely no regard for the volume that time, the entire set was clipping wayy too much so my mate and I just had to bail

been listening to bare old dnb/jungle recently, is there any reason the drums sound so good to me? they're the main reason i listen, like in this tune they sound so crisp and hit hard


is it that they're analog not digital or something like that or am i just too used to listening to grime and getting the worst quality production values

i was thinking it had to be something like that, the breakbeats just sound completely different to all other dance music i've been listening to previously

this question might be pretty stupid but why doesn't everyone try using sampled drums instead for their productions, is it just a pain in the arse

sorry i know like 0 about production, what's a tracker or a 12 bit sampler do (i get what a sampler does yeah but not why 12 bit would not be used etc) and why don't they get used
