Why do people pick that over Dota 2 etc? not massively into these games but it has sucked me in recently..

basically this. DOTA 2 is much more 'difficult' than LoL, it is much more varied, especially when it comes to item choices. Also there are more mechanics to learn.

LoL has done better than DOTA for this reason, its easier to pick up and play, and easier to watch. twitch.tv quite often gets over 100k viewers watching league of legends players. pretty crazy

anyone know where to get a ps4 in the uk? have been trying for a couple of weeks with no luck.

Ahh ok. Shame as I like Dota2s looks more. Just getting to grips with a few guys but im only like rank 7 or something.
I vaguelly remember playing beta so im going to dl the client and see where we go.

It's a lot more complicated, but I wouldn't really call it less beginner friendly. There's a ton of resources available for new players.

LoL seems waaaaaaaaay more complex than DoTA 2 based off the last 5 games of LoL ive played.
Also all the heros being behind an xp/pay wall is abit lame.

nah dota is more complex, wouldn't say much more difficult though, just more to digest and more variety iIrc
LOL isnt very easy to pick up, just ask my mates -_-

doom 2 on the xbox. i want to play hexen 2 but you cant buy it on xbox or any consol. cant wait for the steam box, no release date yet but it will be this year i think
