um, i live in downtown omaha, basically a block away from the "hood", and have good friends that have been around that kind of life, so it's something I've been exposed to. I've never claimed to be a gangbanger, I'm just asking that people look at these sort of things with some sympathy and nuance as opposed to ignorantly writing everyone in that culture of as retards that bring all these problems on themselves.

Actually the vast majority of North O is a hood. It's essentially a food desert. The amount of gang activity in the city is ridiculous.
