a few of my friends from school have been posting up pics of them with their familys.

only just clicked that 5 years ago today they lost brothers/sisters in a flashflood.

getting a little emotional now.

Started taking a poster off the wall and great lumps of plaster started coming with it. Had a few things stuck on the wall and it's ruined the plaster. I've never repaired plaster before, I've fixed holes in the wall with filler, can I just use that? DIY ninjas?

Exactly what it says. I was walking around without shoes or socks, a police car stops next to me and the cop starts literally screaming at me to put my shoes back on RIGHT NOW OR THERE'LL BE SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES YOU HEAR ME
Naturally I was like "wtf", at which point I was pinned against a wall and told in no uncertain terms that he was not fucking around.
