It was really dope, but it also fizzled out on time. If it went on a little longer it could've gained traction as being the formulaic and overdone alternative to bro and dungeon. Since there really wasn't a whole lot to the music or places it could've gone, it being all just steppy drums and Basic Channel stabs.

yeah i think youre definitely right about that actually, maybe wouldve been cool to see other producers' takes on it but we'd probably all be complaining about it right now if it became a lasting trend

I really wished that dubstep wasn't so cyclical. When one tune was released, a lot of carbon copies followed for months to come and the cycle was repeated when a new fresh tune was released, eventually getting stuck on dungeon when dubstep as a whole lost relevance.

The dub techno sound is one of my favorites in dubstep, so I'm not just being cynical. It could've been fresh for years if it wasn't rinsed so much at that time and producers were more willing to just do anything.

Had Taco Bell for the first time today and it was shit.
