Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Jose Mourinho as First Team Manager.

Mourinho has signed a four-year contract and will return to the club where he won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups between 2004 and 2007.

Rooney would literally have to halve his wages, not happening. If he leaves it will either be Chelsea or PSG.

Hope its PSG so we can hear his French accent a la Joey Barton

People expecting Arsenal to be making signings for £20m+ I think are going to be left disappointed

I have heady and slightly horrible mixed feelings of excitement and nerves about next season.

Fellaini camp, #efc & #afc all deny release clause met. Arsenal not in for Rooney or Cesar. Jovetic on radar but not near top

I'm excited about next season (not from my standpoint of a Newcastle fan, I think we are going to struggle again and I don't feel confident after last season) cos there could be a real potential shake up of power.
City are bringing in a new manager and new players who are of questionable calibre compared to their price. Man U have a new manager. Arsenal could re-gel and seem to be shouting about spending a lot of money over summer (apparently they have the same financial clout as the biggest clubs at the moment). Chelsea reunited with the special one. Will Bale leave Tottenham or will he stay and will they grow?
I think the top of the table could be very interesting. I feel bad for Everton though, they will slide back down into mediocrity this season.

Should be an interesting season, even the smaller cubs will have an extra £50m odd to spend on players/wages with the new tv deal.

here's an early prediction for you, I think Fulham will struggle, could be the season they finally go back down
