Bob Hoskins dead yo

i've been mixing mostly dubstep vinyls but have a couple 130 tunes, anyone got any advice for mixing them in i like the way they sound, i don't think i have many transition type tunes between the two bpms, is there no way of pitching it up enough/ do i have to just use intros and outros

if your turntables go to +/- 8 you can mix 130 into 140 no worries. itll probably sound pretty bad tho.

best bet is to go:
130 -> 135 -> 140 or summet similar

Shoulda Rolla, Sicko Cell, 480BC are all around 135, there are a fair few tunes, just gotta keep a look out.

thanks riddles yeah that was my issue, i can pitch it up to +8 in theory but it'll sound all weird and high pitched yeah, i'll give that a try, got shoulda rolla

Clocked last night that VirtualDJ pro will allow up to 7 decks at once. Might try some mad techno mix on it tonight.

I tried to install my old copy of this the other day but it wouldn't work

All about finding the 130 tunes that sound okay still pitched up 5/6% and the 140 tunes that still sound decent the other way.

Strings Hoe refix for example still sounds many percent higher (that tune is too fun to mix with)

yeah it's mainly strings hoe, i've had that a while and been ferociously clanging it, but i love the way those violins come in onto other tunes

god i think when i first started mixing i thought i could get 130 to match if i put it to like +3.....
