easy dude, just load sample into either sampler or simpler. turn "lfo" on, and mess around with the little button that says rate

Do a search, Hurling Dervish posted an excellent tutorial on them a while back.

Why does it make these files each time i listen to a sample in ableton?
Are they important?
Do i need them or can i delete them?
Is there any way i can stop ableton making them?
Cheers :)

you can turn it off in the preference options. lol that's very vague isn't it? I can't remember what the option is as I've never turned it off but it's there.

There analysis files to speed up loading times for samples. Yes you can turn them off but I cant remember how

Those store all of your clip settings. So if you have done any warping, envelopes, set follow action settings etc. and you want your clip to behave the same way the next time you load it, you'll want to keep those. You do need to hit the save button in the clip section.

EZ

Please describe your problem more clearly and we will try to sort you out. What are you trying to do? Whats the sample of? Is it an audio loop as a clip?

i just recorded this part, and the clipping is gone in the sample...

must be ableton-skipping... although CPU is below 8%. :?: :?
humm.. thank you anyway!!

may have been the compressor, i sidechained a synth to the kick.(?) anyway... seems to be a problem inside the software, not affecting the actual track.
