i really don't think talking has an effect on the overall volume level of the club, but maybe they think that when ppl are talking, they have to raise the volume of the system, which obv raises the overall volume of the club and increases chances of cops busting?

should really just get a legit venue where they're allowed to make noise. never been to reconstrvct or brooklyn for that matter so not sure what things are like there in terms of noise laws and booking venues.

if your speakers cant rise above talking levels then you shouldnt be trying to put on a seminal dubstep night.
thats a problem at house parties
shouldnt be a problem at any self-respecting club

Semi-related story:
I was at my "mates" for his birthday, and Basically someone was like the music's kinda quiet, plug it into some speakers, then my mate just goes nah those are broken, but it doesn't matter because my laptop is louder than most speakers anyway :? . Tbf it wasn't a party with much music anyway but still

ive been house parties where ppl have overestimated the strength of their speakers playing them in an empty room and then when the room fills up they dont quite have the weight

holy fuck what a waste of an RC1 soundsystem if you have to keep it to a level where people can talk over it

I have never heard of that before, people can be screaming and shouting as much as they want and wont even be audible over a half decent system

A lot of people trying to talk over the system can easily reach close to 80dBa.
It sounds more like a buzzing sound. I mean you can't distinguish any of the words,
but it's pretty loud. Again, I don't find it annoying though. Wouldn't dare try to get people to stop it :6:

The most recent outlook party topped out at £30 in a venue that must hold 3k and they didnt even have to get the lot of em across the Atlantic.

Not that I agree with mad prices, just a bit of perspective. £15 is like $30 or so isnt it?

Seems £22 which is standard Fabric or most "big" events is an early bird. I suppose when you add in that all the Artists arnt from the USA it adds up.
I always thought reconstrct was in a proper venue though that they have the Franics K monday nights

Good clubs charge around 16 quid here. 30-40 will get you into a festival (12 hour thing).
