Hello everyone,

My name is Kirsten. I'm 16 and I live in Pennsylvania. I've been into dubstep for about 2 and a half years and (I'm ashamed to admit...) I got into it through Skrillex, since his music was so hyped in my school. I decided to learn more about dubstep, and that led me to DSF and producers such as Burial, Mala, Coki, Kode9 Goth-Trad, and so many more. I am definitely a huge fan of the original dubstep sound, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the occasional well produced brostep track. I love music and also listen to many different genres such as jazz, classical, electronic, prog. rock, indie, and others. I am also interested in music production and would like to learn here at DSF.

Cheers! Boiccius from Barcelona, Spain. Been spinning the decks for a couple years now and I'm about to start my production journey! Hopefully I'll find what I need in this forum to achieve it. Looking mainly to make Darkstep or Filthy Dubstep as others may call it (Funtcase, Sadhu, 12Gauge style). Hit me up if you've got any tips or tuts please!

Welcome Destro.

Its a pretty easy forum to navigate,

the production forum is worth looking at, dont trust 100% of what you read on there tho. http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewforum.php?f=8

The best thread on there is this one: http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=233775
