ok ok ok, it sounds like I'm trying to make this into something reputable which, considering the past lesbian entanglements and on air mad wae it ness i know it could never be, but that doesn't mean we can't have a good time AND do a decent radio show.
SNR has lost a bit of what made it so good (not saying that it's not good now but you know...) so i think it's time try and sort it out. we always have fun regardless but it is actually meant to be a radio show and the fun in the chatroom was part of what made it great. we always used to get loads of listeners purely on the back of dubstepforum traffic but that doesn't work out so well anymore, and since i'm absolutely terrible at the promotion side of things does anyone fancy trying to hype up the show so we get some more listeners? doing the show regularly will help but getting the name out there will add to that and ultimately make it more fun for us too :)

aye man I will.

I'm no PR wizard myself but it is time to claw back some listeners and get some new ones.

You should have people doing it weekly then have a big one at the start off the month

So like
6th march have a big one where everyone meets ups
13th march - GWA
20th march - badger
ect..

Then it might attract more people

:)

the problem is that it's usually done on a saturday night so it's not always a great idea doing it on a regular basis because people will want to go out on a saturday, but if we swapped it about between ourselves then it shouldn't be so difficult to get someone playing

yea got my own wee ustream thing and all, do you try and do it weekly george? If so you could make one of them weeks a SNR stream.

I think 15 listeners is good going as a starting point btw.

Rome wasnt built in a day.

yeah 15 isn't bad at all

one thing to consider with doing it on saturdays is that wiggle baron does his show on subfm and that might have a similar listener base to SNR. he's 7 till 9 isn't he?

i think the big one on a saturday night and one day through the week for the weekly shows.

Its too hard to get people to listen on a saturday I think.

Doing the show individually for people sittign about doing nothing of a weekday night makes more sense to me.

true, but will that help with getting a regular listener base? as long as people mention the big monthly ones on air then listeners may remember at least

and DZA, the "main" london station will largely depend on where you're coming from, and i've got no idea about nottingham. wouldn't worry about the underground works too much as it may not even be on a line you need to use

in total over 50 people tuned in over 4 hours so wasn't bad

weekly yeah, depends how I feel, try and usually do it with a mate but don't know many heads in Leeds that play funky and house etc.

think me and Hackman said we'd get on a ustream flex last time I saw him, dunno if he remembers lol

getting serato in a week so I'll be doing it even more reg when that arrives
