As the day went on my old man thought it would be appropriate to tell some shit racist joke about "darkies" and crimewatch. This resulted in me exploding, probably a bit more than I should have done in front of the kids, but I went ape with him and stood, up, pointed my fingers right in his face and told him exactly what I think of people who tell racist jokes.

Well you can imagine the repercussions... fuck it, yeah I may have ruined a good day and I shouldn't have sworn in front of the children but I am fucking sick to the back teeth of shit like that and when I protested his first reaction was, a flippant one which just angered me more as it confirmed what he really thought.

I love me old man but I fucking hate racist old stnuc.
I feel where you're coming from man.

My dad's girlfreind and her family are full on ignorant uninformed uneducated intolerant morons! Well 2bh she fully does it out of not knowing any better and she was obviously socialised into thinking that there's nothing wrong with it. I called her up on the use of the word 'paki' not so long ago and she got all nervous and tried to defend herself by saying "well it's just short for pakistani", which just supports my case when i say use of that word is just racist. Just the typical gullable dipshit who would never dream of using the word "n*gger" or dirtecting racial slurs agains black people yet wouldn't give a second though to looking at the colour of someone else's skin and deduce in her small minded ignorance that they must be from one country in the entire continent of asia let alone in the world and use the word "paki". I don't give a fuck about it's dictionary definition because it makes no difference when people are just using it out of insensitivity towards the fact that it has commmon usage in racial discrimination and hatred.

I've refused to even meet her parents and on christmas day i had the unfortunate experience of sitting round the dinner table and listen to her son (who is abit slow but still...) remark that "hitler had the right idea getting the foreigners out of the country", and, "ask grandad, the holocaust never happened"!! To which i sat offended and troubled yet held it in for the sake of "the spirit of christmas" or whetever, until later after he left something that should have been completely unrelated blew it out into a full on domestic row and i ended up being the one "ruining the day". I haven't spoken to anyone in this house except my brother since friday and it's partially the reason why i have such a fucked up sleeping pattern since i'm in my room all day and coming down after everyone's gone to bed to watch some tv and eat. =/

Got home, realised I left the bedroom window open and it's about -5 outside and only 6 in here. Then I don't know if it was all the rich food or having a massive argument with my family but I got a stinking headache and have been sick. I need a hug </emo>

edit to add: I just saw this fat line up which made me wish I was in oz, where's warm!

Family init... can't pick them. Apparently I was drunk, despite not having a single drink?! I could go n but its best not to dwell on it, I honestly do feel bad that the day had to end like that but am I entirely to blame? Takes two to tango, Cash!

Yeah, i am still dwelling on what happened abit now and again as that incident also just seemed like a cumulation of the attitudes of people in this house over the past year. People have described privatised nuclear families as overloaded electrical circuits and that's exactly how it feels like here; people constantly battling for attention, acknowledgement, respect and defense from the negative opnions of others until it just blows out of proportion. I was much happier and stress free in the two years i spent living on my own which is something i need to consider moving back towards soon because i have lost all interest in being part of this family unit, all it has proven to be is a negative psychological environment. Oh well, back to college next week, won't have to worry so much about avoiding people.

The security people generally don't look that closely, they just check that you look vaguely like your photo. Of course, if the tear looks quite blatant then they might question it a bit. Bring secondary ID with you just in case. You definitely need your passport for overseas flights now, especially Spain. I think they still ask that you fill in some details online prior to travel too.
Yip, I lost my passport in Spain a few years ago - flew on a photo driver's licence with barely any problems.

woke up ate breakfast (*sniff sniff* whats that smell?) eat breakfast (*sniff sniff* whats that smell?) FUCKKKKK the drains are blocked. All the neighbours fat from xmas dinners and virile daughters bloody pussy rags have blocked the drains.
So I pour a load of water down, helps a little, then put the boiler on cause I want a shower and go and talk to my 96yr old gran about ish while she's eating her breakfast. During this time my dad thinks its a good idea to turn off the boiler and have a go at me for blocking the drain (yeh cause its my fault, after all I do have gushing rivers of vaginal fluid which require me to use 5 different types of tampax 4 times a day). I go in the shower to escape his onslaught and it is fucking freezing. great. time to get back to london and move house!
