Sport should be 5 days a week and not optional at school. But there should be more choice IMO.
I had to wait till uni to play american football.

Serious personal skills can be taught through sports too. I've seen people with all the academic skills but no personal/social skills crash and burn, there's plenty of shit outside of the athletic nature of sports that can help a person.
