Not feeling so far. Memories stands out as one of those purist Zomby tunes, other than that it's not doing much for me. Horrid sounds like No Lie by 2 Chainz and Drake.
I gotta say all-in-all it reminds me of when dubstep started turning into 2-step and what I'd say was weak garage full of really weak drum work and just didn't satisfy - some good tunes on there but I don't think it's gonna be a purchase yet; pretty sure disc 2 will sway me.

or inspired a lot by dilla?
Lol whut
'all these ideas for melodies, riffs or sounds etc. in his head and he'll set it all down and for the most part be done with it. He mentions how he doesn't like to stick to the one thing for too long or he loses inspiration.'
that's exactly what dilla used to say almost word for word (acording to j rocc and pbw)
it's a decent creative process and definitely not 'lazy' is the point i'm trying to make

well no, read what I said again
zomby's and dilla's creative process are the same in terms of their inability to work on a track for extended periods of time without being sick and bored of it; but madlib, exile, pete rock and pbw, to name a few (from interviews from pistache), also had this process. I'm not comparing their musical ability or style. I'm just trying to say that just because he likes to whip out a quick melody, work on it for a bit and push it out doesn't make him 'lazy', it's just his creative process and that's p cool.

No, on it's way out it started going back to those origins. That's what I mean.

Is that "The Boy Is Mine" sampled in "The Things You Do"?
I must say, I'm super unimpressed. I don't need to spend 33 € on 33 tracks that have no start and no end. It sounds like I'm listening to snippets on amazon. Of course, he has some great sounds every now and then, "Overdose" is cool and all and I'd dance my ass off to that, but that doesn't sell anything to me.

couple of those tunes are nice. I'd pay $1.99 for a download of all of them

Well I think it's more like 12 euros (or 20ish for vinyl) but yeah, the lack of start/stop in some of them is my main problem with Zomby tunes in general. I think it only works 1 or 2 songs an album, not the entire way through.
Having said that, I'm feeling quite a few songs on here, only track I really do not like is Isis. Bland as fuck.

I was referring to this
http://www.hhv.de/shop/de/artikel/zomby ... ove-318686
which is just too much for me. But I'm sure it's cheaper somewhere. I have to say, in all fairness, I have only listened to CD1.
