Doesn't really sound very dungeon to me at all (and I do actually like a fair bit of dungeon stuff)
To me dungeon is really dark, intense and heavy whereas Asteriods sounds a lot more atmospheric and spaced out, almost a bit trippy even
The vocal version is gorgeous too

yeah this too, first few times that I heard it I wasn't so keen on it and thought it was a bit boring tbh, however when I heard it at System for the first time I felt like I was orbiting Saturn or some shit, now I can't get enough of it, fucking amazing

Inb4 someone says it isn't dungeon because they like it
i would say because of the Om Unit Remix, but that's cheating
the answer is hype

Is that just down to how high you were but yeah its like a light version of The Big Bang.
Im not sure where the "hype" is coming from though, Ive only heard it on a few mixes, rest of the time its been at System. Just a really nice tune that reminds me of some good times. About all there is to it for me!

Should stress that I'm not packing anyone for liking it, just pondering what makes some tunes almost universally liked when they aren't really that different to a lot of other tunes. I would've guessed that for a lot of people it was the experience at System, makes sense.

Some tunes just don't make sense until you hear them on a system IMO. Was the same with Miracles for me.

Nothing wrong with dungeon, its just one of those 'good' dungeon tracks - it just all sounds so similar that its boring on mass to me, and dungeon djs tend to stick to that sound. When i hear asteroids its quite often in a medi type set (with variety) - rather than just the youngsta type sets.

yeah to me it sounds closer to the Medi sound (whatever exactly that is) than the Yunx/KM/Dungeon sound

lol, like when Homer goes on the journey to find out what his middle name is because he only knows the initial J and it turns out that it's "Jay".
