I currently fulfill the role of 3 ppl in plant.

Yet when I comment on being overloaded and under paid I get the bs speech of, "we're under major pressure to get work out so we need you to support."

If I tell them to fuck themselves as it's not my job, I get the whole personal angle from my Manager telling me it would reflect badly on him.

I turned it on without knowing she had got it wet, fucked.

Broke my laptop the other night, knocked a whole glass of water over it. Been nearly 2 days now and no luck powering up. Stuck it in the cupboard with the boiler to help get rid of the water.. Seems dead

It belongs to poseidon now bro. You'll be able to use it underwater though, trust me.

Cat knocked coffee over my first laptop, nothing I tried got it working again.

Its probably fried. Could try taking out the battery and running it off the mains. Odds are its fucked though.

If you try and turn on electronics that are wet you will short it regardless, generally.

I cut the power straight away and left it off for a least a week, gave it the hairdryer etc, still didn't work

Left it 48 hours before trying, tried from the mains.. Nothing working. It was on its way out anyway and I've backed up most of my important stuff.. Just bad timing as I'm moving into a new flat soon which will set me back a grand. Oh well.

Work are cutting all our hours because the job center are providing free staff through some bollocks 'back to work' course------ WTF!!!-------- thought they were meant to find people jobs not contribute to unemployment by forcing people out of paid work
