I am personally happy with how everything is until it gets to the transition at
1.15 and when the string comes in it sort of is abrupt i know but I like how it sounds when the sub kicks back in. SOOO if anyone has any ideas how I can make the transition smoother and how I could introduce the new plucked string better let me know! Thanks as always mates

I think when the new guitar (acoustic I think) comes in at the 1.15 bit, it's kinda loud, and it surprised me a bit, maybe if you decreased the volume a little bit, it's great though has a nice relaxed feel like the song in your sig

I loved it man, I loved the build up (I guess that's what it would be called) also on the bit at 2.24 (donno what it's called but it repeats throughout the song) I think on those things you could make it a little higher pitch, I prefer it when it's kind of irritating on the ears hearing it, that's just me though

. And I guess to finish it off you could speed it up a bit or something (Not the drums in the back) but I'm keen to hear the whole thing.

.
Fucking epic. That is all.
EDIT: Listening to it again, you could probably shorten the silence at the end of the song, I personally don't like them.
I also just exported and uploaded my thing I've been working on for a few hours now, I'm just getting to know how to use Fruity Loops and making a drum beat is basically all I've figured out by now. Here it is:
<object height="81" width="100%"> <param name="movie" value="
http://player.soundcloud.com/player.swf ... 6"></param> <param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param> <embed allowscriptaccess="always" height="81" src="

http://soundcloud.com/squeekey">Squeekey</a></span>
What do you think?
I personally would like to add something dramatic at the end of that, something loud and scratchy like off DubMikey's song but still have no idea how to

I'll figure it out soon I hope.
I really appreciate the nice words! And I will do what I can to make as dirty, raw and filthy as possible!

@horus - likin the first tune man, love the minimal vibe. second drop doesn't do the tune justice though it feels a little cluttered. good work though
@astral- you've got a good strong bass sound goin on but the drums are neglected. the kick sounds to soft and the rhythm is abit simple. its well composed though n i have no doubt it would go off at a jump up night.
heres the first bounce of my latest track, hope people are feelin it
feedback is appreciated good or bad

@dubmikey - dope track. the sample variety is sick. idk really know to explain this next bit but ill try my best. at 37 theres a bass that you have detuned, if you can try and make it more "up" in its detunedness. thats terrible lol but maybe you will get what i mean
@nicorisone - do a little resampling to fatten up your sounds
@juan - SICK DROP!! that track is awesome. definitely cut out some of those higher frequencies in your bass though, or maybe my volume is just up wayy to loud haha
@fassyman - your right on point with that shit man i love that minimal groove. i think the overall volume should be brought up though imho, other than that though phenomenal track
@lorken - thats a uhh.. good start but if your trying to make dubstep, or any sort of edm/idm based music, then your definitely gonna want to add lots of bass, some risers and some leads just for starters. try going to youtube to look up some production tutorials for whatever DAW you are using
decided to redo my drop. going for completely different song feel than what i normally go for. i havent done any resampling so ik that i need to fatten my bass and fix the overall mixing, but im mostly looking for feedback on the feel/groove of the song and the melodies

@Astral
I love it,there's a really nice groove going on when it drops..maybe EQ the snare to make it a little bit more punchy
@Johnst
I think you've got a nice groove going on there, but those synths need a bit more beef if you know what I mean..maybe stick a sub under there or a little bit of EQ..
@Horus
I like the vibes of Reckoner a bit garagey..I think that sub is a little bit low or flat you might need to turn it up and make it stick out
@ Fassyman
I love the minimal vibes and i think that that bassline is fucking sick! Only thing is the intro,I think it's a bit long with not much going on,you could shorten it
Ok here's a little something I was working on this afternoon, not quite sure of the direction to take after 1:00,I put this bassline but I'm not sure If i should just continue with the sub..feedback is loved as always

@ fassyman - Really awesome track, not sure what I would change. Your discretion.
@ nibzdub - Good sounds, good melody. You have something going here and I think it's worth it to continue.
@ kushhmane - The drop is better, but all the intro needs work. The wubs kinda bugged me, but as its a short preview I know more work'll probably go into it. A suggestion would be to find better drum samples and maybe do more tutorials, like the wubs I can tell are chorus'd, but not like thats a bad thing. Just tweak as you go, read lots of stuff.
@ NRHc - What came after 1:00 fit IMO, good start. The girl singing, did you get that sample off freesoundproject? Seems like I recognize it.
@ Bloodandmud - At 1:28 I'd bring out the leading mid-ish bass, its under the rest of the high sounds.
I have a track on page 18 I still haven't gotten feedback on. Any would be appreciated.

@nibzdub really like those eq drums hits and the rhythm when the drop kicks in. Feel like the tune loses its pace a bit when you start too mix the sounds up a bit but if you get some bigger sounds it will sound huge! awesome!
@kushhmane riff feels kinda cheesy at the start but when those synths kick in it all makes sense and sounds rad. I like the drop aswell, and I really like the lack of LFO's, please keep it that way! I think the main thing you need to work on is the drums, they dont crack through enough.
@NRHc love this, its so dark. Can't think of a single negative, keep this vibe up and it will sound amazing.
Soundcloud is decided not to load for me so I can't post my track at the moment.....

will get it up soon though

@Lorken, hope i dont sound like a tnuc here, though I probably will, no offense intended! But there really isn't anything to comment on here, its just 30seconds of drums? Is this a mistake link? Anyway.... its cool your play starcraft! aha.

@nibdub - Love the buildup, man nice track
@kushmane - Groove is very nice - Drop is sick
@NRHc - Nice feel - Would stay with the subs but clean their flow up a bit
I put together a new sound and starting messing around with it. Still pretty rough but would love to hear what you think.

@Alt Fire, not sure about this one, the bass sounds really dark in parts (good!) but it seems to be clashing with a totaly major high melody in the background?

@ Kushhmane - So comments on flow and melody. I can hear a bit of a Rusko style club flow to this. Which i can be partial too at times i'll admit. I wasn't diggin on the intro to be honest. Or the drop sample really. But after that it had a nice stompy flow and bass melody is sounding good.
@ NHRc - Diggin the sample and intro vibes. Cool beat. Nice, mellow and deep. I do have to say i think you should stick with sub for a little longer. Let the vox come in cleanly the first time. Then maybe bring in that squirmy bass. It sounds like you have all the ingredients anyway, once you get done arranging it i think it'll sound great.
@ edoogle - Bummer bout being missed on page 18. I think you needa change it up abit in your track to keep it interesting. Maybe put in some instruments with different types of sounds to give the track more dynamic.
@ Bloodandmud - I enjoyed the intro but did think it went a bit too long, after it i really didn't expect the rest of the track to change so drastically. But when it did it was really cool. I love the creepy vibe to the whole thing. It's a really strange track, or at least i haven't heard alot like it.
@ Alt Fire - Really like the feel to this track. And that bass sound is nice. I agree with Bloodandmud about the high melody, definately a clash there. Other than that though sounds good.
This is something i started yesterday. I have no idea what drumstep is, but i was going for that kinda heavy/Thrashy/up-beat feel. All feedback is appreciated good or bad. And if someone can let me know if it's drumtep that'd be swell!

@Olux yeah I know what you mean about the intro, though I consider it another part entirely rather than an intro as such, don't have the heart to cut it! I missed out a little piano line when the track changes which kinda makes it glue together, oh well though. Thanks for the feedback!
Your track is sounding sweet, seems to be missing a bit of pace though as far as drumstep goes, maybe some faster lfos and shackers in there?
Oh and drumstep is basically just drum and bass (175bpm) played with a half snare feel like dubstep is

@Olux - Heavy mate, some really nice sound production going on. sounds really professional. not drumstep though, more dubstep/breakbeat at 140bpm
@Alt Fire - The kick is cutting through nicely, bass around the intro feeling nice as well. It sounds a little 'uncontrolled' in parts, particularly in the middle as it doesn't fit well with the beat imo, but 1:40 onwards there's a really nice groove. Sounds like you've used a flanger on the bass? Sounds really good mate. really feeling it
@Bloodandmud - Wow, the intro is really misleading, I sort of expected the drop to be deep rather than brosteppy midrange feel... but sounds quite original imo. I love the glitching around 2:30, really bouncy.

The intro feels a bit too stretched, did you timestretch a sample? It kind of sounds like you've stretched a badly encoded mp3... maybe thats my speakers. The glitchy drums in the intro sound great as well, maybe add a slight fade out/in on the audio chops though. There a few 'clicks' which can be removed (clicks only occur when waves suddenly drop to the zero crossing point too quickly, causing a highfrequency click)
@NRHc - EPIC. I truly can't hear anything that could be improved in this. Really nice vibes, deep and heavy at the same time. 0:30 is the best I reckon, be looking forward to a download of the finished track.
Now for my track, just an session yesterday that formed into this. Feedback appreciated.

@Alt Fire - Your track is way too heavily compressed man - you can really hear everything come down in volume on the kicks. I like it apart from that, although the drum pattern could be a little more varied for my tastes. Nice start.
@MexicanKangaroo - I really like this. It still needs a lot of work, but it's a great start. The kind of horn hit sound is a little high in the mix. It's a reasonably high sound, so It'll cut through even if it's a lot quieter. You could do with a lot more subby bassness. Your lead sound could do with a little bit more sub behind it, but also I think your kick would be a lot nicer with a subby element to it. There's a really weird bit 32-33 seconds through the track. Not sure if it's just a sudden clip or something, but it makes everything go really shaky and gittery.

Olux: Agree with bloodandmud on the definition, sorry i havent got any useful critisim about your track i quite like it. like the intro percrussion bits, maybe the hihat/shakers could be higher in the mix or more crispy with some dist. bitcrush? Good drums and like when it kicks into that dnb beat bit. Do you have a sub bass line? at the moment my sub is only producing kicks.. (this may be your intention)
bloodandmud: aghh.. like being stuck in a haunted house , untill it drops ^^ , really liked that bit at 1:57 where that synth repeats, seems to hang for abit before re-introducing the melodic parts. nice use of infinity snare roll into bass note that was cool. All in all not quite to my taste but alot of very original structured bits in here. And in my books thats good. also no sub bass
mexican kangeroo: INSTANT subbass haha. yea i dig this vibe, makes me think headdown smokey room standing next to a turntable, good use of instrument sample at the moment the elements dont seem to glue together for me (the bass and instrument sample) but liked the vibe.
So i went and mixed E303 down at the studio, but it had no subbass :O , so i took the original bass and pitched it down and equed it. and the normal bass got abit of a boost which im dubious about goues durrr. Also have i drowned out my kick?

@ mexicankangaroo, nice vibes there mate. when's it finished

@ MRP5, love it, i especially love the bit towards the end when it fades out.. so sick!
@ olux, drumstep aint realllly my thing i enjoy but i wouldn't go looking to listen to it. but it sounds cool man, i think it needa abit more tempo though.
Now i have finished my song i think. it's kinda short but i didn't really think i could change it anymore without it getting boring, so here is is
