Can't fault any of those! I even like ELFs... Kari Wuhrer helps! In fact, isn't Scar-Jo in that too? That's one mother-daughter sandwich I'd like to be the filling in.

Seen quite a few lately.

Watched Rec 2 last night. It's a straight up action film compared to the horror of the first. Those that said this is Aliens to the firsts Alien are spot on. Enjoyed it just as much as the first, and look forward to seeing the origin story this year.

Watched District 9 for a second time. Fuck me, does it good look on bluray! I don't like the fake talking heads, but other than that it's almost up there with Aliens for a action sci-fi film. Wasn't quite as good as I remember it being at the cinema tho. Reason being is I have now seen Monsters which is almost 100% spot on with it's non-intrusive world/story building. The fake documentary/interviews in District 9 now seem dated and unnecessary.

American : A Bill Hicks Story - Quite enjoyed it. Got enough new annecdotes in it from family and friends that it will contain stuff for even the most hardcore Hicks fan.

Tamara Drewe - I'll watch pretty much anything with Miss Arterton in it, but this was pretty poor. Had a few laughs thanks to the sweary/dirty teen girls, but didn't know what it was trying to be and ended up with some bizarre tacked-on end

Black Sunday - This is an extremely influential italian horror film starring Barbara Steele. A lot of the scenes are instantly recongizable from other horrors since, Sleepy Hollow immediately springing to mind. Genuinely scary for the first 30 minutes then some bad acting/dubbing lets it down, still good tho

Witchfinder General - Wasn't as good as Black Sunday, but Vinnie Price is awesome in the titular role. Not much happens in it tbh.

Tron Legacy - It's not as bad as I thought it would be. The visuals and OST alone make it a 3/5.

Get Him to the Greek last night - it was mildly amusing, but 20 minutes too long perhaps. Did stretch on at a few times. Brand is just playing himself, as is Jonah Hill. However Puff Daddy is great and needs to be in more things.

Gamer - got about 2/3rds of way through, had no idea what was going on, and fell asleep.

^ The first 30 mins or so is amazing, the montage of their life was so deep. Pixar smashed it once again.

^ Not as bad as it looks.

^ i'm late for my first watch of this but is great.

Conviction - Sam Rockwell gets banged up for life with no parole for murder. Hilary Swank is his sister who becomes a lawyer to try and free him. Pretty dull. Good performances, but something lacking - 2/5

looks like someone missed the boat..

its not for everyone, and tbh i didnt expect you to see the symbolism or appreciate avant-garde cinema, based on how you present yourself on this forum

yogi bear 3d is still in theaters, that might be more to your taste

i went to Otis College of Art and Design. quit embarrassing yourself with pseudointellectualism. some of us are capable of seeing through it.

lol Art School.. that explains a lot.

seems to me that you're embarrassing yourself by passing such juvenile opinions while maintaining pretention, the fact that you cant express your distaste in a cultured way...

anyway, it's a performance art piece about sexual definition. some people can appreciate it, others cant.

you have every right to your opinion, but at least offer it in a more informed way, and spare us generalizations.

all those interested should watch it for themselves and take away what they can, and ignore the fact that someone on the internet likes it or hates it.
