Honestly he is so unfit for a footballer it's disgraceful. Dude smokes cigarettes ffs
Ive always said he won't be a player that carries on well into his 30s, he's probably only got a few years left at top level

Dempsey going to Seattle is a big look for the MLS.

Virgin Media getting totally shafted again, all the football we got on ESPN going to BT Sport and you can't even get the channel on Virgin anymore

Spanish papers this morning seem dead certain Bale is coming to Madrid.
And quietly happy with Pompey's home thrashing by Oxford

AVB still insisting he's not for sale.. Spurs will sell but they'll hold out for maximum fee and Madrid are stupid enough to pay it

If spurs are still serious about building a new stadium it will be interesting to see how much of the £100m Levy reinvests in players..

Its a sign of desperation digning bale, just like barca signing Neymar was. Both sides patently don't need another ego-soothing trophy signing which will completely unbalance the team if they try and fit them in.
Like Barca v Bayern. If they had had Neymar there's still no way they would have won- maybe they would just have lost 7-1 instead but still. Bale + Neymar will rip through most of the spanish league and score stupid amounts of goals but when they get to europe they'll learn that the team beats the individual.. again (and then probably run out and sign suarez for 200 million next summer)

Am I the only one who thinks Brendan Rodgers comes across as an angry teen re. this whole Suarez story?
Saying Arsenal shows lack of class bidding on him

Not sure where he's coming from with those comments, Arsenal thought there might be a release clause so they tried to activate it. Nothing wrong with that, its just business

Liverpool looking very promising in pre-season to be honest. Coutinho is a brilliant little player but if they lose Suarez their ambitions take a huge hit. If he was up for saying I'd be thinking they could well go on to push top 4 again this season.
