I ran a guys lotto ticket through the terminal at work and he'd won 970 quid and he had to ring up to claim it.
Reminded me that I had no luck

Can hardly stay awake today at my desk, even walking to Tesco I felt like I was falling asleep as I was walking. Not sure why, I got about 6 hours sleep..

I found an old friend on a forum today.
Haven't chatted to him in over 6 years.
He doesn't seem terribly excited to chat to me after all these years.
We were personal friends as well, not just internet friends.

Yeah i've had people act like that before
TBH though there could be a reason for it.. in retrospect i may have done this to people in the past without meaning to.. if you are in a weird place mentally and emotionally, and if you have a tendency to isolate yourself, communicating with people can be difficult.
Although recently i moved back to York after being gone for 15 years and some of the friends i had have totally changed and are basically brain dead zombies at this point as far as i can tell. They used to be weird but now it's like they are doing everything they can to be "average blokes". Watching football, talking about the royal wedding/baby etc..
I think they are just trying to be who their boring girlfriends want them to be. I am also pretty sure they have been told not to talk to me.
Sorry not trying to make it about me, i guess what you said brought up some stuff that has been bothering me.

there's a sudden craze of "Lihaton lokakuu" or no eating meat for the duration of October and people act like it's the biggest fucking deal and go on about how they prolly "can't make it lol"
i appreciate that these fat-chewing lard-arses are even interested in going vegetarian, even for a little bit but it isn't that big a fucking deal...

don't think burial tunes can make me feel worse tbh
hopefully it won't last too long. last time i felt this bad i didn't sleep at all for 11 days and ended up with therapy that didn't do shit for me, except for realizing it was a waste of time and money. so i'll just try to focus on work, hit the gym, yoga, properly get into shape, maybe start making tunes and djing again since i kept putting that off for some time now #posi

Not to be to cheesy but there are many fish in the see.
Even if it means you find a haddock or 2 at least you'll end up with a rainbow trout one day.

Going to the gym is good, it gives you something to do rather than just moping around at home, you'll get in shape and it's a great place for meeting/staring at women.

the sea run variety of onchoryncus mykiss is called "steelhead" only freshwater fish are called "rainbow trout"
so no ultraspatial, you can't find a rainbow trout in the sea
