Yeah I wasn't saying the gay thing related at all I just though it was funny how it followed the whole point with the analogy just being invented by dudes wanting to push there own point.

I can indeed see the fact that loads of people would agree with the analogy I'm just really sick of hearing it and wouldn't use it to describe how society actually works. I mean I was probably too reactionary with that first post but the point still was I don't think we live in a "master key/shitty lock" society. More that we live in one where male insecurity is defended by that thought

you have to admit though that its far more common to get guys boasting about how many girls they've slept with than vice versa. its a stupid and simplified analogy but it definitely has a grounding in fact

imo its getting less common for people to have the 'master key / shit lock' attitude to things, but u cant deny its basically its embedded into our society, its in advertising, magazines, films, tv programs..... institutionalised sexism ;<
