At least we have DJ Wanka, the 5th member of the all-time massive DMZ crew.harrypickard wrote:I dont understand why he wouldn't release an LP or a few of his old dubs? they're the most sought after things. He'd make a killing on it (i know its not about money) and he be keeping his fans happy.
really frustrating sometimes. but i guess thats the culture, a big shame sometimes.
If it's no longer where he's at musically (and it doesn't seem to be) what does he get out of it? I mean, all he'd be doing is making publicly available old material that he (potentially) doesn't feel any connection to. The guy is an artist, and I can't think of anything particularly artistically satisfying in that. If anything, he's simply indulging fans who might not have any interest in what he does now (I realize he doesn't produce, but I mean with his Swamp 81 stufF). That doesn't really advance any agendas he might have or benefit him in his current ventures.harrypickard wrote:I dont understand why he wouldn't release an LP or a few of his old dubs? they're the most sought after things.
