I've been smoking since I was 16 and I just quit today. I was never really addicted but did it once in a while. What helped me before was coffee or just some small little snack once in a while.

is it legal to do deals on cigarettes in murrica?
fairplay for once
let ppl do what they want
funny, in my college place a pack of cigarettes is like $4.50, my friend from home was saying today i should buy cartons and sell em up here for like 7
Note that these prices are from 2010-2013 but when I was smoking, American Spirits in Albuquerque were $9.50 and PallMall 100's were almost $7 after tax. In Colorado, American Spirits were around $7 and PallMall 100's were around $3.75 in Denver 7'11's.
I heard in NY a Pack of PallMall's are something like $13.
It's crazy that even after a year of not smoking, I still get the same craving when I think about cigarettes or get really stressed out. What changed was how I assess the craving and how my acceptance of the nicotine craving has changed. It's like PTSD in some ways, you just deal with it.
I know that I will never be able to smoke again. I can't imagine the breakdown I would have if I decided to start up after all the progress.

Lol, 16 seems to be the magic number for a lot of people.

I must be cooler than all u guys cos i started when i was 15.
Recently i have been so tempted to start again, I've got used to all the benefits of not smoking now and struggling to find a reason not to start again, it's annoying cos i went a year with not much difficulty.
