I hear that, but the tunes were superior to most stuff that goes into that particular category of electronic music imo. Alix is the kind of guy who just does what he does, sickly, imo.

his dnb is good in how it tries to mimic really good artists and almost succeeds- but its all a bit fluff or faux deep or whatever, but i kind of like most of his stuff - its just so far away from say dbridge, break or optical, that have a production standard you could trust for years. he's more round and about but that leaves his stuff with less personality than the producers he is a fan of, imo.

You really though he just sat about biting dBridge? Even when Chroma Chords came out? Even before his stuff got all techy?

PAst two weeks has been all about it, and it all started with the re-listen of 1984, that's a special fucking album from start to finish.

ups and downs, id say expect some classic dmzs like neverland but also expect to hear brostep and magnetic man stuff, saw him play like 3 times at outlook, he never failed to drop mr happy ahaha

but his dj face has to be seen to be believed, looks like hes intently scanning the crowd for someone who owes him a lot of money
