Firkles wrote:getting someone fired is a really really shitty thing to do, fella, especially "under the present economic climate" and all that jazz. She might be a grass but I wouldn't lower myself to her level unless she really fucked me over. from now on go to work in a wheelchair and say she's being picking on you for being disabled or follow her home each night and stand outside her gaff, staring.
yeah i know. she lives at home with her family so it's not like she's going to end up with starving kids

the thing that really gets me is that i've kept quiet (and so has everyone else in the office) about her when she's been really really annoying all of us - and then she starts emailing people this. she aint going to be getting people being patient with her much longer i can tell you that much. to be honest i'd just be happy if she just shut the fuck up once in the while and let us get on with work.... well... the internet

Tbh, it looks like she's the one trying the "get a colleague fired" angle.

I sometimes wonder how many working hours are lost in the world each year due to the internet, if I don't have any clients in I just sit and post to forums (as you can tell) all day and then write up all my reports and risk assessments at home on a sunday night

exactly, my point man, really shit thing to do and you don't want to be one of those cnuts who does that. The dick probably twitches at the curtains all day too.

nah she only sent it to one of my mates (which begs the question what she thought it would achieve). so obviously i get instant defence and have it forwarded to our email group who unsurprisingly aren't too pleased with her

plotting my response now haha. really not sure what the best course of action is

the girl who had the email sent to her went and spoke to my manager today who agreed that she was an absolute dick and basically said that he's told us we shouldn't be on the internet and if we get in trouble with it from higher management then it's our problem to deal with. he even said that her response after the email should have been; "do you know what i like about you?..... FUCK ALL!"

haha my manager's ace

Circular email around today, more funding cuts for DATs for us and because Northern Rock (our biggest donor) went tits up £300k is needed to keep the full team going, assets are being sold. Such as holiday homes that we use for families to have a break who otherwise couldn't afford it or being sold and it looks like some people are going to be "released" - which would include me and a few other key support workers no doubt.

Might give Life Line a buzz and see if they have anything going, can't afford to be out of work again.

Fucking new labour, fucking recession, fucking country, fucking fuckity fuck sticks fuck.

On the plus side I noticed that my ban as Firky had been lifted 8)

Trying to compile a Wii emulator on my macbook. All I ended up with was a headache and 3 hours of lost time.

I Don't know what you like but when ever anyone asks me that question I give them the cliched answer of George Orwell's - 1984. It's a fantastic book :)

What a shitty week I have had:

1) Been hinted at that there's a possibility I may lose my job in March or April
2) Lost my wallet for two days
3) Paid extra for a delivery of some new chainsaw bits to arrive today and City Link didn't even attempt the delivery
4) Get invited out for a meal and some DVDs around a mates house tonight, so I get out the bath, get changed, pick me shit up to stay the night when the phone rings, "Um, you wouldn't mind calling it off, only the boyfriend isn't working after all and you know how funny he is about me having male friends."
5) I remain cool, calm and collected about the above and think I'll just have some of that lush bacon I bought... I fell asleep in the bath and my dog has eaten the bacon.
6) I can't drive to the shop to get some beers as I have already had a can of Guinness

:(

FML!

Edit to add: That fucked off banging cupboard doors and swearing at no-one, christ,
