one of the reasons recent uk techno / "130" techno is appealing to me might be because I know my dubstep records inside out and can mix (most of) them blindfolded now. having to work with different music and put in the time and effort to understand each tune's structure forces me to once again clean my musical palate and open up my tastebuds to different aesthetics. the interesting part, for me, is leaving my comfortzone.

A 12" with the instrumental/riko vocal on flip would've gone like shit off a shovel
Paul was saying he had issues with getting stuff cut, like that white label was supposed to be done in spring but the plant kept taking for ever.
Considering its a label run by a student in Dublin he's doing all right really.
Pretty sure its why it was a one two punch of the riko version and the white label to give it a boost. Could have done with that in July for our night
I guess the only problem is it would take up time and money which could be used to get out new music.
Yeah I think thats probably why he went for DL only, presumably any £ for that he gets to keep will go into the next EP.

What ever happened to those Glacial Sound shows on Sub FM? He had a residency there for a while before he suddenly stopped and deleted all his mixes on soundcloud
