got a weird one for you lot...
Feed back welcome of course

Interesting, i really like the experimental vibe of this, your drums are great.
Might turn down that kick at 2.45 though, try massively lowpassing then sticking a bit of verb on it to try and get that heartbeat sound i think you were going for, at it's just a bit too in your face for a breakdown.

thanks for the feed back man, much appricate it.
and yeah, i actually tried to do the heartbeat thing (spot on there on your guess), but i ended up taking it out, cuz i felt it was a bit "expected" and over used at times as a mood changer... so i prefer to roll it out and keep straight foward on the the second drop with a twist with the weird vox thing... still not sure about it all tho...

thanks for the feed back

explain "funny"... is it like "haha" funny? or "HA" funny...?
lol... nah seriously... it is the actual tone/pitch of it that's a bit weird?

Hey all.
Have a new track up for free download (or option to donate over paypal if you like it
). It's a bootleg remix of Chemical Brothers - Hey Boy, Hey Girl. Hopefully I've done the track justice and haven't let it down at all, although I'm completely aware that little of the original remains
Feel free to let me know what you think (in downloads or money
)
Thanks! Here's the link (there is a player on the site as well as the download link)

@vly
really like that. intro is big, kinda generic sound of the wobble but its got a funky melody so it works. i like how the track progresses aswell, nice work!
@aux
again love the intro, the drums are crazy! the drop is nice, the bassline works well with the other sounds which it something i always find difficult. great variation of sounds and i love the sort of vocal change on the second drop. complex track, big up
@sesg
the distortion on the intro is sick, but i think it needs more variation in my opinion, maybe a few effects to light it up. not feeling the wobble, doesnt suit the heavyness of the track if that makes sense? like it needs more depth or something, or i might be just talking rubbish. it needs changing either way in my opinion. good so far though!

It's a nice track, but if it were mine, id fill it out a bit more, can feel empty at times. But that's the thing about opinions, they're subjective.

The intro is cool, but its a bit too easy to get distracted
0.44 The beat that comes in here is cool, really grime like
1.11 - 1.45 Didn't like having the break here
1.44 - 2.12 This is perfect from a grime track, it would be good with lyrics over it
2.13 - 3.46 The riff you brought in here was cool, but theres nothing there to grab your attention. No real lead, No bass line..... It's boring
3.46 - end Same again... Nothing to keep you interested in the track. It's just to ambient, that percussive lead just doesn't work on a track without a bassline/Lead It needs to have Bars on it in order to make it a good track. But even with bars it has to have a bass line too, that BD is crying for a friend!
Good production but i found the track a bit boring
