re: acetate playability
i've gotten about 20-30 plays of some of my plates and they still sound nearly as good as when i got them cut. take some pressure of the stylus...
no one else has these tunes... i can't think of another record i have played out that much- probably play a reaaaally good piece of vinyl 5-6 times before it gets retired for home listening... most likely just once or twice :/
this is why i say acetate is more cost effective... i can literally play some tune that i have the only copy of in almost every set, and people definitely appreciate it. it's exclusive... it's for THEM
plus they smell good.
