Nah i think its sick, the caracter models still are one of the best around. Some of the textures are starting to show there age though, Half life 2 episode 2 all looks up to date though and episode one didnt look bad at all.
I realy hate Halo 3's engine it has some nice visuals but caracter models and everything else sucks like they were just took from Halo 2.

I played on ODST last night...

Only had a little go on the campaign, but spent about 3 hours on the new mode 'Firefight'. It's ace! An endless stream of baddies to get through, with skulls that increase the difficulty in a number of different ways - by making the enemies throw grenades like it's going out of fashion, or forcing you to melee baddies to regain health, etc...

Have to say, wasn't that taken with the little amount of the campaign that I saw - the graphics don't look to have come any further from Halo 3 and the gameplay isn't very fresh either. I'm questioning whether the price tag of £35 - £40 is actually worth it really. If you've already dowloaded the extra multiplayer maps for Halo 3 then it doesn't seem like good value to me.

The only realy good thing about Halo games is online, the campaign always sucks in Halo games graphics and story.

It's up to you! It's £30 on Amazon which seems a little bit more reasonable to me.

If you've already paid for and downloaded the additional Halo 3 maps, I wouldn't bother. If not, and you're a fan of Halo, then go for it, I reckon.

I'll be buying it cos I didn't get any of the maps and I'm a sucker.

Colonial marines does look sick i am getting that, but AVP for mulitplayer.
